After years of trying naturally, Clara and David decided to pursue IVF to have their own baby. They followed all the instructions of Dr. Matthews and completed each IVF step properly. The stimulation and the egg retrieval went perfectly.

When, the day came for the embryologist to assess the quality of their embryos, Clara and David sat in the waiting room, and Dr. Matthews walked in with a solemn expression.

“I’m sorry,” Dr. Matthews began, “but the quality of your embryos is not optimal for transfer. They haven’t developed as we’d hoped.”

“It means we need to reconsider our options,” Dr. Matthews explained. “We can try another cycle or explore other avenues like donor eggs or adoption.”

For weeks, Clara and David kept thinking and they returned to Dr. Matthews, who supported their decision to attempt another cycle. This time, they approached it differently, with an adjusted protocol and additional support.

Weeks later, they sat in the same waiting room, but this time, the atmosphere felt different. Dr. Matthews walked in, her face breaking into a smile. “I have good news,” she said. “The embryos are looking much better. We can proceed with the transfer.”

Nine months later, Clara and David welcomed their baby into the world.
